The gif that I made shows the different type of humorous Mona Lisa. Some contemporary artists would like to subvert traditional art and make high art to popular art. Because mass art is easier to understand for people. Therefore, I choose four different humorous Mona Lisa to show that how the art changed in contemporary media. People give Mona Lisa different costumes or change her movement. Letting her hold a phone or cigarette. These humorous Mona Lisa reflect contemporary people’s behaviors and hobbies. Besides, I use Louvre as a mark to sign these different types of Mona Lisa. Using classical art to perform contemporary art is a unique and interesting way to connect high art and mass art.
